I once tried on glasses with aqua innards like the ones above, and I found the aqua extremely distracting. It was constantly invading my peripheral vision.

The Roxies are shaped very much like your current purple glasses, and I think red would be superfun.

My family members weighed in via email and voted "not straight black" and "P085." I guess I'm not the only one who can't decide; a split blog audience! Thanks for the feedback. And Liz, your glasses were a great pick.

I'm so not the person to ask because I bought my most recent pair of glasses while not sober.
However, I like the plastic frames better then the metal ones, and I ranked them in three pools- Okay, Maybe and No.
Okay: Roxy, Venice, Durham, Orange
Maybe: Aqua, P085
No: Dakota, Silver, Blue
Yep, I'm sooo helpful.

Another cost-saving measure on glasses is to have new lenses put into old frames; I've had three sets of lenses in my favorite titanium frames. You might have to go to the store where you originally got the frames to find out if they can do it, but it only cost me about $100 for new lenses. Until I added on glare-coating for another $90...

I love plastic frames. The problem is that they get bent out of shape from my rough handling. Now I've found that titanium frames suit me best. It's a little more expensive, but the metal is sturdier and resists corrosion (important for someone who runs with his glasses on).

But of all the choices that you've listed above, I like the one listed as "something with aqua" best :) Oh by the way, always check if the frames have spring hinges. These frames last longer as well.
